About the job:

Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Mons, which is the leading provider of Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities such as the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) and the NATO CIS Group. CSU Mons enables end-to-end CIS services and manages critical technological capabilities during peacetime, crisis and war.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Technical Coordination Officer who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

•    Managing and providing mentorship and technical guidance to technicians within your team;
•    Support the Head of Service Operations Support to plan and manage resources to meet SLA targets and additional commitments to projects; 
•    Act as Contracting Technical Officer for local AV maintenance, VHF Radio Systems, and for local Telephony Services;
•    Manage local projects in the delivery of assigned services;
•    Manage the activities of external contractors in the execution of their support to NCI Agency

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

•    A Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognized/certified university in a related discipline and 2 years post related experience; or, a secondary educational degree and at least 6 years post related experience;
•    Sound knowledge of ITIL processes and an ITIL Foundation Certification;
•    Working knowledge of fiber optic and copper cable installation, testing and techniques;
•    Working knowledge of secure network topology, LAN and WAN systems;
•    Working knowledge of legacy TDM Voice networks and VoIP deployment;
•    Working knowledge of TCP/IP and standard networking and communication protocols;
•    Experience in managerial roles and managing with administrative processes in a technical environment;
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
