About you

Depending on the position, the ideal candidate will possess relevant professional qualifications and substantial experience in one or more of the following areas: warehousing, supply chain management, logistics, or transportation/movement. Candidates are expected to demonstrate in-depth expertise in the specific subfield which they are applying for. Proficiency in a computer-based logistics and/or transportation management information system is required for all roles, along with a strong command of English. For certain positions, good proficiency level in the Host Nation language (German) is essential. Prior experience in an international or military environment is considered an asset. Higher-grade positions demand more comprehensive subject-matter expertise and may include specific educational or vocational training requirements.

The ideal candidate will also possess a strong, committed mindset, demonstrate self-motivation and initiative, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be flexible, eager to learn continuously and demonstrate the ability to work in collaboration with others as well as independently within their areas of responsibility and apply their expertise to handle tasks with minimal supervision.

Contract

Serving civilian members of NATO will be offered a contract in accordance with the NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations. Newly recruited staff will be initially offered a definite duration contract of three years. Thereafter, an indefinite duration contract might be offered.

Basic Salary

Salary values indicated in this vacancy notice are based on NATO`s Single Salary Spine scale.

• G8   - 4,536.99 EUR
• G10 - 5,112.39 EUR
