About the job:

Based in The Hague, Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join The Air Command and Control (AirC2) Business Area. AirC2 ensures the harmonised planning, implementation, deployment, evolution and support of the Air Command and Control (AirC2) and Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) programmes as well as other assigned programmes. AirC2 is the procurement and implementation body of the NCI Agency, charged with the effective planning, execution, delivery into service, evolution and through-life logistic support of NATO’s and assigned national AirC2 and BMD systems.

We are now recruiting for The Service Area Lead of AirC2-AP.  The Service Area Lead of AirC2-AP is responsible for managing and leading the delivery of products, projects, and services, aligning them with the AirC2 Centre’s objectives while coordinating with various stakeholders and managing resources effectively. 

You will be accountable to the Chief of AirC2 Centre for the portfolio management of the products, projects and services assigned to the service area and undertake the likes of the following duties: 

• Enterprise and AirC2 Business Architecture.
• Processes and Business Planning
• Continuity Management
• Quality Assurance
• Product Stakeholder Engagement
• Service Area Business Management
• Governance and Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Governance and Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Performance Management

About you:

• The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
• A Master’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 5 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years post related experience.
• Proven 5 years of experience in a leadership role, specifically in managing products, projects and application services.
• Proven experience in leading mixed teams of technical and business professions in an international environment.
• Proven skills in project management in a communication and information system context.
• Proven excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven software and system development life-cycle knowledge.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
