About the job:

Based in Brain L’ Alleud (Belgium) you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the NATO Infrastructure Services Centre (NISC), which is accountable for planning and executing the full lifecycle management activities (design, transition and operations) for the identified area of responsibility. NISC provides generic, domain independent, technical functionality that enables and facilitates the operation and use of Information Technology resources.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Solution Engineer who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

•    Solution architecture;
•    Requirements definition and management;
•    Systems development management;
•    Network design;
•    Sourcing;
•    Contract management;
•    Technical lead;
•    Engineering Support.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

•    A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience;
•    3 years’ recent experience designing, implementing and supporting, in large enterprise environments of:
     -    Enterprise service provisioning of infrastructure & platform systems and standards (IaaS and PaaS);
   -   Directory, Identity and Access Management consisting of multiple interconnected and federated Active Directory Domains and Forests;
     -    Enterprise Service Management concepts, methods and tools;
     -    Experience in engineering, integration and support of ICT components.
•    Experience in various areas of information system engineering including some of the following, amongst others:
     -    Requirements elicitation and management;
     -    Interoperability/internetworking concepts and models;
     -    Automation and orchestration in a DEVOPS environment.
•    Knowledge of ITIL IT service management mode and applied knowledge of Service Transition
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken
