About the job: 

Based in Brussels, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join The Office of the Chief of Acquisition, which provides the full range of acquisition expertise and activities which support the planning, implementation and maintenance of the required capability to support the Agency’s strategic goals and missions. 

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior IPS Officer who will be involved in C4ISR (Command Control Communications Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems' full lifecycle from initiation to disposal as a member of an integrated Project Teams, supporting Project and Service Delivery Managers and take on the following roles and responsibilities: 

  • Supporting procurement activities, including bids evaluations, contractor reviews, and in-service contract management. 

  • Driving supportability engineering and applying Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) methodology; 

  • Handling logistics management, including forecasting, records, and project integration; 

  • Assessing and reporting hardware reliability, identifying failure causes and improvements; 

  • Managing technical writing, ensuring documentation standards and tools are applied;

About you: 

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (supportability or logistics engineering preferred) and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post if the educational requirement is not met; 

  • Training in IPS methodology and proficiency in the use of supportability engineering related standards and tools; 

  • Excellent communication and networking skills; 

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changes, proactive attitude; 

  • It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of safety engineering, NATO's C4ISR capabilities or experience working in an international organization that comprises both military and civilian elements; 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
