About the job:

This position is based in Brussels, Belgium. You will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the NATO Infrastructure Services Centre (NISC), which is accountable for planning and executing the full lifecycle management activities (design, transition and operations) for the identified area of responsibility. NISC provides generic, domain independent, technical functionality that enables and facilitates the operation and use of Information Technology resources.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Engineer (Digital Infrastructure) your roles and responsibilities include: 

• Systems design
• Systems integration and build
• IT infrastructure
• Storage management

About you: 

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role should include: 

• A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience. Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
• 3+ years in senior engineering & technical project management, including line management or supervisory roles.
• Deep expertise in business application platforms & IT service management (ITIL framework).
• Skilled in incident/problem management and driving continuous service improvements.
• Track record in service level management aligned with SLAs and compliance standards.
• Proven leadership in small international teams with strong vendor management capabilities.
• Extensive experience in electrical & mechanical systems for data centers: power, cooling, fire detection, HVAC.
• Solid understanding of energy efficiency strategies and environmental monitoring in mission-critical infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a strategic, data-driven mindset.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
