About the job:

Based in The Hague, Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (JISR) Centre that delivers, supports and protects valued Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, expertise and services. JISR maximises operational effectiveness for NATO in four key domains: Intelligence Applications, Operational ISR Support, Electronic Warfare/Surveillance Services and Geospatial/Meteorological/Oceanographic Information Services.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Principal Project Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities: 

• Risk management
• Project management
• Requirements definition and management
• User experience evaluation
• User experience evaluation
• Contract management
• Stakeholder relationship management

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are: 

• A Master’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 5 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years post related experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Project management of C4ISR acquisition and / or development projects for a large organization
• Proven ability to work successfully with military and civilian staff, Industries and in Sponsors/Industry negotiations.
• Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or other C4ISR systems
• Experience in Project Management tools, managing cost and labour
• Experience of NATO or national governmental acquisition policy and procurement procedures;
• Knowledge of establishing and reviewing export control and non-disclosure agreements
• A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
