About the job:
Based in The Hague, Netherlands, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our Information Technology services to support NATO’s Digital Transformation. You will join the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC), which is responsible for the Digital Workplace, covering operational NATO services, across all content classifications and security domains, for desktop computing, mail, instant messaging, video teleconference (VTC), content services platforms, telephony, printing and mobility services. NDWC responsibilities also cover the support of digital events, meetings and large-scale conferences for both the Agency and NATO stakeholders. NDWC also has the responsibility for driving the future roadmaps of these services across the NATO Enterprise to enable a NATO Digital Workplace through new services.
We are looking for driven and enthusiastic Digital Adoption Specialists who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
- Define the Digital Adoption trade inside the NDW Center with the intent to drive the end-users to higher productivity, increase the employee experience and in the end support the creation of a NATO Digital Workfoce;
- Support Digital Adoption activities in support of specific projects that deliver new technology to NATO end-users;
- Create the necessary supporting materials (written, graphical, video, online, in person) to assist end-users in adopting the new technologies being implemented by various projects in the Digital Workplace domain;
- Support the creation of a Digital Adoption platform that will reduce the personal (1:1) support to end-users;
- Information systems coordination: coordinate and collaborate with others on the promotion, adoption and implementation of new technologies, information systems and services;
- Emerging technology monitoring: support monitoring of the external environment and assessment of emerging technologies;
- User experience design: apply standard techniques and tools for designing user interactions with and experiences of selected system, product or service components.

About you:
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
- Bachelor degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- Proven experience in leading initiatives of technology adoption, change management, or digital transformation;
- Proven experience in using collaboration features and functionalities and digital workplace technologies, e.g. M365, Webex, Skype, Polycom;
- Proven experience in creating communication materials and visuals (user guides, targeted user journey communication, user documentation) that showcase the features and functionalities of digital workplace technologies tools, e.g. M365, Webex, Skype, Polycom using software such as Canva, Adobe Suite;
- Experience and ability to develop plans for digital adoption;
- Effective communication skills that adapt to the environment, audience and objective;
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies;
- Experience in roles requiring building, maintaining and strengthening customer relationships, communications and follow-up;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Note that the work is conducted mainly on site in The Hague, Netherlands.
