About the job:

 

Based in Braine L’Alleud, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the Chief Information Officer (CIO) that leads the Agency’s internal efforts and business changes required to transform into a Digital Enterprise. CIO is directly responsible for seven focus areas, namely: internal IT management, information and knowledge management (IKM), to include data protection, CIS and cyber activities, sourcing advocacy, sustainability posture, completion advocacy, value streams, professionalization and digital transformation, resulting in business and organisational transformation. 

 

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Change Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

 

  • Develops, communicates, implements and reviews the processes which embed strategic management in the operational management of the organisation.
  • Leads and manages the creation or review of a strategy that meets the requirements of the business.
  • Plans and manages the implementation of organisation-wide processes and procedures, tools and techniques for risk management.
  • Considers organisation-wide risk and mitigation activities within the context of business risk as a whole and the organisation’s appetite for risk.
  • Plans, manages and investigates business situation analysis where there is significant ambiguity and complexity.
  • Advises on the approach and techniques to be used for business situation analysis.

About you:

 

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

 

  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3-years post-related experience. Or exceptionally, the lack of a University degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experiences that are of interest to NCIA, at least 10-years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
  • Extensive experience in relationship management and proven ability to work cross functionally within various teams.
  • Experience managing resources, teams, projects and service delivery, specifically in change initiatives and projects.
  • Experience in project portfolio and budget management. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
